for a 2013 Latin Grammy for Elegía, from our new CD, Aroma Foliado
Southwest Chamber Music is proud to announce that Gabriela Ortiz's Elegía has been nominated as Best Classical Contemporary Composition. This is our 9th Grammy nomination and 4th Latin Grammy nomination with 2 awards.
Elegía received its US Premiere this past February during Southwest's LA International New Music Festival and was recorded a few days later.
The ceremony will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 21, 2013.
