Spotlight on CAGE 2012

LA Weekly "Hey L.A., where's the love for your native son, John Cage? It's the 100th anniversary of his birth next year, and the only party in town is being thrown by Southwest Chamber Music. The opening Cage 2012 concert showcases violinist Shalini Vijayan playing two late opuses while sharing the stage with sound art by Mineko Grimmer."

Los Angeles Times "Southwest Chamber Music is hosting a Cage festival in March, complete with audio-kinetic sound sculptures and other works."

Sequenza21.com "Violinist Shalini Vijayan will perform Cage's One-6 and One-10 with musical sculptures by Mineko Grimmer (which Cage approved as appropriate companion works to his music), as the opening concert of Cage 2012."
